baker_james_gordon
Baker, James Gordon was a used and antiquarian bookseller. Gordon Baker, as he was known, opened his first shop, Two East Market Street Book Store, about 1980 in Rhinebeck, NY in a shop on the second floor of 2 East Market Street across Route 9 from the Beekman Arms.
In 1978 he became the Barrytown, NY postmaster and relocated his now severely downsized shop in the post office.
